11/19/2003:  CatholicWeb was down this morning for about an hour and a half. We apologize for the inconvenience. Whenever possible we will notify the members of our website as well as our visitors of server down-time, however this is not always possible. This morning there was a hardware issue at our co-location house in Austin, TX and it has been resolved.

Again, we apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you.

8/5/2003:  We will be doing some upgrades and normal maintenance on our servers thought the day on Tuesday, August 5th.  The site and/or email may go down temporarily throughout the day.  If you are experiencing problems try carrying out your request in ten minutes or so.  If you still have problems contact us on our toll free support line at (877) 923-0777 or email us at support@catholicweb.com.

8/21/2002: There have been two new media partners added to CatholicWeb.com.  We are pleased to welcome America, The National Catholic Weekly and The Hallmark Channel.

CatholicWeb Web Site Builders can add these new media partners to your website by simply going to Step 3 of EZWeb, clicking Open Page then selecting Edit News Sharing.  Select the Media Partners you would like on your website.  It's that easy!

6/15/2002: New E-Greetings added to CatholicWeb.com E-Greeting Section.  CatholicWeb.com and Inspire21.com are working together to provide our community a larger selection of E-Greetings.  Inspire21.com provides free e-greetings for every occassion.  Click here to send an e-greeting. 

4/26/2002: The following upgrades have been made to CatholicWeb.com

1. Easier to Navigate Member Console.

2. Site Builder and Community Builder Image / File Center is now easier to navigate and allows members to create, upload, and browse images and files by category.

3. New automatic resize and compression tool for graphics that are uploaded exceeding 73k quota. 

4/25/2002:  CatholicWeb.com will no longer offer free Personal/Family Web sites or free CatholicWeb.com e-mail due to abuse by several individuals who have disguised their identities to target other Catholic organizations with inappropriate content and messages.  We will continue to offer free Web site hosting services to official Catholic Churches, Diocese, Schools, and Diocese approved organizations. As always, all subscribers will continue to be verified by their respective Diocese or Parish prior to approval. Other arrangements are being made to offer Personal / Family sites and e-mail in relationship with another CompBiz, Inc. owned community.
